Tapping Script: I Hate My Job!

Do you often feel stressed about your job? Maybe you actually HATE your job with a passion, but you feel stuck because you can’t find a better job to replace it?

Tapping to dissolve feelings of frustration and stress about your job can not only make you feel better, it can also help you open up and be ready to receive much better opportunities.

Use the following script whenever you notice the familiar feeling of dread and stress coming over you – perhaps before you go to work, or after you come home from a hard day.

Karate Chop:

Even though I am SO SICK of my job, I deeply love and accept myself.

Even though I don’t think I can stand to be there another moment, I’m willing to do what I can to feel better right now.

Even though my job is really stressing me out and I’m ready to quit, I fully accept myself and my feelings.

Tapping through the points:

Eyebrow: I’m so tired of my job.
Side of Eye: I just can’t do it anymore.
Under Eye: I DON’T WANT TO BE THERE!!!!
Under Nose: It’s really dragging me down.
Under Mouth: I don’t want to be there anymore.
Collarbone: I’m so tempted to quit this job.
Under Arm: But then I’d be in trouble.
Top of Head: I need that paycheck!

Eyebrow: What am I supposed to do?
Side of Eye: This job is stressing me out.
Under Eye: I hate being there.
Under Nose: But I’m stuck.
Under Mouth: I have no choice but to stick with it.
Collarbone: And it’s stressing me out.
Under Arm: This stress and frustration.
Top of Head: I’m so stressed and frustrated.

Eyebrow: I’ve got so much resistance on this subject.
Side of Eye: I’m filled with stress and frustration.
Under Eye: I don’t feel good.
Under Nose: But I really want to feel good.
Under Mouth: I would love to find a better job.
Collarbone: A job that I actually enjoy.
Under Arm: But that will probably never happen.
Top of Head: I feel pretty hopeless about it.

(pause here and take a DEEP breath!)

Eyebrow: This hopeless feeling.
Side of Eye: This “stuck” feeling.
Under Eye: I’m ready to let these feelings go.
Under Nose: I’m ready to feel better now.
Under Mouth: I don’t know if I can feel better,
Collarbone: but I’d really like to feel better.
Under Arm: I’m willing to release these heavy feelings now.
Top of Head: I can do that much.

(pause here and take another deep breath)

Eyebrow: I’m okay right now.
Side of Eye: I’m letting go of the stress,
Under Eye: letting go of the aggravation.
Under Nose: Tapping and feeling better.
Under Mouth: Everything is going to be okay.
Collarbone: My job situation will work itself out.
Under Arm: I’m going to focus on good opportunities.
Top of Head: Good opportunities can come to me quickly.

Eyebrow: I’ve got a lot to offer a good employer.
Side of Eye: I’m not really stuck at my present job.
Under Eye: Sometimes it does seem that way,
Under Nose: but things can change FAST!
Under Mouth: I’ve seen it happen before.
Collarbone: So I’m going to stay focused on that.
Under Arm: I’m going to stay open to great opportunities.
Top of Head: I am open to wonderful new opportunities!

Eyebrow: I’m ready to stumble across a GREAT job.
Side of Eye: A job I will truly LOVE.
Under Eye: And it’s going to come in a way I never expected.
Under Nose: A really FUN, EASY way.
Under Mouth: That’s my intention.
Collarbone: I am now opening to receive a GREAT job.
Under Arm: A job that makes me feel happy,
Top of Head: a job where I can really SHINE.
